  • Letter content — The information you enter into our forms (recipient details, dates, amounts, descriptions of disputes)
  • Payment information — Processed by Stripe; we do not store credit card numbers
  • Generated documents — Letters created by our AI on your behalf
  • Usage data — Browser type, IP address, pages visited (standard analytics)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Generate the legal letters you request
  • Process payments and deliver your documents
  • Send your letter via USPS Certified Mail (if you select that option)
  • Provide customer support
  • Improve and secure our Service
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. Third-Party Services

To deliver our Service, we share necessary data with the following third parties:

  • Stripe — Payment processing
  • Anthropic (Claude) — AI-powered letter generation
  • Supabase — Database hosting and order storage
  • Lob — USPS Certified Mail printing and delivery
  • Twilio — Phone number verification (CNAM lookup)
  • Google Maps Platform — Address autocomplete and verification
  • Vercel — Website hosting

Each of these providers has their own privacy policy. We do not sell your personal information to advertisers or marketers.

4. Data Retention

We retain your order information and generated letters for as long as necessary to provide the Service and comply with our legal obligations. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

5. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights:

  • Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction — Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Deletion — Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")

LegalFire is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Cookies and Tracking

We use minimal cookies for essential Service functionality (session management, theme preference). We do not use third-party advertising cookies or behavioral tracking.

9. International Users

LegalFire is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
